Training Update

Update re BHSCP Training.

It has clearly been a very unusual year thus far, and it is unlikely that we will be able to offer face to face training before the latter part of this year.

We still need clearance as to how many people we could have in the training rooms, and as yet there are no clear indications as to when we might get this.

With this in mind and looking to how we can continue to offer some provision, we have adapted some sessions to go on line or as virtual training via “teams” or as E-Learning offers.

This will include,

Safeguarding in a Digital World,

MAPPA, ( Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements)

Trauma Informed Practice,

The Many Faces of Exploitation,

We are looking at a Substance Misuse offer that can also be used on line.

I will advertise these via the web site and our social media links.

In an endeavour to restore the core training as a priority, we are going to cancel/reduce the specialised training offers for a temporary period of time. And would like to use the dates to offer more core training for lesser numbers of staff.
