Working Together

Date: Monday, 27th Jul 2020 | Category: COVID-19, General, Training

It is the first official week of the school summer holidays.

As a result, children and young people remain out of sight, we must keep vigilant.

“See Something – Say Something”

In the last week, it is clear that the public are also listening and acting on our messages asking for help.

As a result a member of the public called the Safeguarding Partnership, wanting to make a referral.

They had seen the partnership logo on the side of a marked police car, and called the number.

We must make sure as professionals and parents that we are telling people how to make contact.

The public need to feel reassured that there are people they can talk too, either locally or by using one of the national helplines.

However we encourage them.

We must all work together to keep talking and sharing the information that will keep children and young people safer.
