Training Opportunities
Brighton and Hove Safeguarding Children Partnership would like to encourage you to “think training”
It is a difficult time, and while front line work continues, we must not neglect our abilities to stay up to date with current training.
We have already moved various training offers onto a virtual platform, and are adding new sessions as quickly as we can.
There are some new and exciting offers – available through October and November.
Places are being booked up, so don’t miss out

(both of the above sessions need to be completed) ( again in 90 minute sessions)

Gangs, Youth Violence, Knives and Criminal Exploitation Awareness Training
Domestic Violence and Abuse: the Impact on Children and Young People
Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) Workshop
We are also taking our Child Protection Core Training onto a virtual platform.
These sessions are extremely important and need to be completed by anyone taking up a safeguarding role.
Currently Day One – Developing a Core Understanding – is being replaced by staff using the E-Learning available on the Gateway
The code for this course is BH 20/075 which you search for on the Gateway in the E-learning tab at the top of the page.
All staff should undertake this module before booking Day Two and day Three.
Day 2 – Assessment,Referral and Investigation – is going virtual.
Day 3 – Child protection Case Conferences and Core Groups – is going virtual.
