We are all trying to keep children and young people safer.

Staff still need to undertake training to keep up to date.

This in turn can reduce potential risks for those young people we all work with.

As a result of COVID 19 –  training is now on-line or “virtual”.

Extra dates for the Core Training days, have been added.

Developing a Core Understanding is temporarily replaced by an E-Learning Module – BH20/075.  

Assessment, Referral and Investigation is currently a virtual offer.

Case Conference and Core Groups is also a virtual offer.

Currently under construction.

  1. Working with Families where there is a Learning Disability.
  2. Safeguarding Looked after Children

Work being undertaken to see if we can add sessions.

  1. Working with Bereavement
  2. Young Peoples Mental Health
  3. Peer on Peer abuse

As the result of recent case reviews, training around Child Sexual Abuse is also being reviewed and re-written.

All of the Brighton and Hove Safeguarding Partnership offers are available to all partners working in Brighton and Hove.
