Happy Christmas

Date: Wednesday, 23rd Dec 2020 | Category: COVID-19, General, Training

Brighton and Hove Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Would like to wish all our partners a safe and Happy Christmas

As a result of the pandemic this year, we have not seen as many of you face to face as normal.

But because of your abilities and attitude, we have been able to continue safeguarding the children and young people in our locality.

Meetings and training had to move on line and go “virtual”, which we have adapted too and made the new way of working, in the midst of COVID19, we have still launched new initiatives.

“See Something – Say Something”  has remained a strong reminder for staff and parents to make contact if they have a concern.

In November we launched the  ICON Project, alongside our partners from East and West Sussex.

In conclusion, we all need time with family and friends over the festive period.

Hopefully next year may be a little easier for us all.

But remember “Safeguarding is Everyone’s Responsibility”

Even over Christmas, we need to keep alert, so if you see or hear something, please talk to someone about your concerns.
