Practice makes Perfect

As safeguarding professionals, do we ever thing a situation is perfect ?

There is always something else we could try, or maybe another service we could offer.

As a result we should be looking for anything new, or a different way of working.

Sometimes we even need to re-visit some of the obvious, just to remind ourselves.

BHSCP run a full multi-agency training programme.

There are also a selection of “Practice Points“ fifteen minute scenarios, that can be use in group supervision, or a team meeting.

These can be used to simulate conversation and get the old thought processes going.

In a group discussion, you maybe able to un-pick a problem that looked un-solvable.

There are also learning briefings, available as webinar’s, currently a series of offers around Child Sexual Abuse 

All staff should try to attend at least one, to enhance their individual knowledge.
