Child Sexual Abuse – current updates

There have been recent reports in the press around sexual assault on adults.

However we must never lose sight of the risks and issues for the young people we look after within our locality.

As a result, we all need to keep to date with both and national policy and data.

As safeguarding professionals, we must all keep ourselves in a position to support and investigate this type of allegation.

There is always new information available.

We can all learn how to improve practice.

Released this week is an interesting report, where young people have talked to the “Truth” project.
