Cultural Competence and Anti-Racist Practice Training
Why is the BHSCP providing this course?
Attending this training will enhance your knowledge, skills and practice around working in a more culturally competent way and with humility, when working with Black and global majority children and families and where there may be safeguarding concerns. This training will assist you in looking through an intersectional lens at the different forms of oppression, discrimination and racism that children and families may experience. As multi-agency partners this training will enable you to consider risk and the safeguarding of children from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities and religions that may be different from your own.
Target Audience:
All agencies will benefit by attending this course and enhancing knowledge, skills and practice around working in a more culturally competent way.
