GCP2 Welcome Page

Graded Care Profile (GCP2) –

Neglect is one of the most important priorities for all safeguarding staff.  This training is run in collaboration with the NSPCC, is part of the neglect strategy for Brighton and Hove and is the adopted model used to make early assessments of neglect. Once staff have completed this training, they will be licenced to use the GCP2 assessment tool, as part of their working practice. It will prove to be useful addition to evidential based assessments, used by all those working with children and young people. It can be used in early help and as part on child protection working, and as an evidential product for family court.

There is an expectation that staff from all agencies will gain a working knowledge of the GCP2 and how it can be used within their working practice.
