Learning from the BHSCP Exploitation Audit and Disruption of Exploitation Learning Event

The BHSCP Monitoring & Evaluation Subgroup completed a multi-agency audit looking at Child Exploitation published in February 2024.   The purpose of the audit was to provide assurance that safeguarding processes, including child protection, reduce the risk to children of criminal and sexual exploitation in the Brighton & Hove area.  The BHSCP Learning & Development Subgroup have now planned a virtual learning workshop to explore the key learning from the audit, workshop places will be available to professionals from all partner agencies in Brighton and Hove.

 

Tuesday 21 May 2024 – 9.00 – 13.00, via MS Teams

 

The workshop will provide a summary of the audit findings and recommendations, will explore child exploitation in Brighton and Hove, will include thematic discussions and a 60 minute seminar on the ‘Disruption of Exploitation and Perpetrators’ delivered by NWG Network ( About Us – NWG Network).

To request a place please email your name / role / agency with your email address to BHSCP@brighton-hove.gov.uk

 

Places will be limited to professionals working with Brighton and Hove children, young people, and families in the first instance, but we may be able to open places to our Pan-Sussex colleagues nearer the date.
