Contextual Safeguarding
For us in our locality, we know that exploitation of young people can happen.
As a result, we can look at how we can prevent this, and see how we can reduce the potential risks.
“Contextual Safeguarding” is an approach or method of looking at how we look further than the family home setting.
We need to look at the structure of a young persons life, who they meet, where they go.
