Training Updates
You need to check out the latest multi agency training offers.
We have worked with our safeguarding partners to offer new dates from April 2021.
All training remains virtual at this time.
As a result there are new dates for;
- Domestic Violence and Abuse: the Impact on Children and Young People
- Safeguarding in a Digital Age – A Practical Guide to Keeping Children Safe Online
- Bereavement: Supporting Children and Young People Directly Affected – 11 March
- Trauma Informed Practice: a Multi-Agency Approach
- Exploitation: Child Sexual Exploitation, Child Criminal Exploitation, Consent, Sex and Young People & Supporting Young People who have experienced Exploitation.
- Enabling & Supporting Compliance: Working with Disguised Compliance and Forceful Counter Argument in Safeguarding
The Safeguarding Core Training offer also remains virtual.
Day 1 still being replaced by completion of the e-learning package (BH20/075)
Day 2 and Day 3 can be found via the learning gateway.
There will be further sessions added within the next few weeks.
These will include
- Child Sexual Abuse ( Identifying, Supporting and Investigation)
- Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements
- Young People who display Harmful Sexual Behaviours
- Working with Families who have a Learning Disability
- Safeguarding Children with Disabilities
- Mental Health – working with the effects for families.
- Mental health – Young People ( Under Construction)
- Safeguarding Adolescents
- Working with Substance Using Families ( TBC)
- Hidden Families ( Private Fostering, Travellers, Home Schooled, Migrant)
Don’t forget – you can also direct people going into homes, making repairs or making delivery’s to the NSPCC “it’s your call” training” which is free until the end of March
