DadPad
Brighton & Hove Safeguarding Children’s Partnership are pleased to announce the launch of DadPad App in Brighton and Hove as part of BHSCP Safeguarding Week 2023 in November.
The App will go live at 10am on 27 November 2023 – we would encourage you to download the App.
Developed with the NHS and dads across the UK, the DadPad gives new dads and dads-to-be the knowledge and practical skills necessary to be able to support themselves and their partner and give their baby the best start in life. As well as the app there are hard copies of Quick Read DadPads, which have been developed for those dads who – for whatever reason – may find accessing the information contained in the DadPad/DadPad app more challenging.
The Co-ParentPad will also be available, but as a hard copy initially until the app development is completed. It is a quick reference baby guide to support non-birthing parents who identify as LGBTQI+, aimed at providing an LGBTQI+-affirming alternative resource to DadPad.
