Mama Mia – “here we go again”

Date: Tuesday, 03rd Nov 2020 | Category: Uncategorized

So as of this Thursday we all go back into lock-down.

As far as we know, schools, colleges and University sites will stay open.

What it does mean, is that we need to stay vigilant to any safeguarding risks or issues.

It is clear that not all risks will be visible, there could be potential for Mental Health to suffer.

There are still services you can access to gain help and support.

With uncertainty around how long this will stay in place.

Families and young people will be worrying about what it may mean for Christmas !

There is always the possibility that young people will get drawn into  exploitative situations, because they want to have money to spend in the festive season.

As a result we must all remain aware and sensitive to any changes in personality.

We must all remember that we have a duty to look after the children and young people in our locality.
